NBA Players With The Biggest Feet In NBA History

NBA Players With The Biggest Feet In NBA History. A huge body frame is something that is common for professional basketball players but some of them are that big that sometimes it seems unbelievable. You probably have a friend who stands out with his height and you wonder where does he find shoes that fit him. Almost every NBA player has been in that situation but the show size of the biggest among them is something different.

So let’s see the ten players with the biggest show size in NBA history.

NBA Players With The Biggest Feet In NBA History

10. Andre Iguodala

You probably didn’t expect to see a small forward on this list but Andre Iguodala is at number 10. The Warriors veteran doesn’t stand out by his height since he is 6-6 which is below the NBA height average of 6-7, but he definitely does with his 17.5 shoe size. As a younger player, Iggy was one of the best athletes in the league and by many should have won the 2006 Slam-Dunk contest. Iguodala is currently in his 18th NBA season which is another impressive fact and has won 3 NBA championships with the Warriors and was named  2015 NBA Finals MVP.

9. Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard is one of the best athletes the game has ever seen and has occasionally been compared to Superman. His 6-10 musculus body stands on feet that wear size 18 shoes. He won the NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 but is much more respected from his days with the Orlando Magic as he led them to the 2009 NBA Finals. Howard is an eight-time All-Star and three-time Defensive Player of the year winner.

8. DeAndre Jordan

Jordan is a 6-11 center with huge vertical who accordingly wear size 18 shoes. Many would say that he made a living out of Chris Paul’s assists with the Los Angeles Clippers but is a fact that Jordan at one point was considered the best center in the game. Back in 2016, Jordan was a member of both All-NBA and All-Defensive first teams. Recently he moved from the Brooklyn Nets to the Los Angeles Lakers hoping to win his first NBA championship.

7. Kevin Durant

If you have ever seen a photo of how Kevin Durant is putting his show on, you have probably thought that something is wrong with the image. His legs look like hockey sticks since he is tall and slim with size 18 shoes. Durant has won everything that a player can but still, he probably regrets that his foot was on the three-point line in Game 7 of the last years’ playoffs against Milwaukee as if his shot was a three, the Nets would advance, and maybe win the championship later.

6. Yao Ming

Yao Ming is someone who you probably expected to see on this list as the Chinese giant is 7-6 tall. With that height, his size 18 shoes do not seem that huge but at his prime, he was a dominant center in the league. As the most of the tallest players in history, Yao also struggled with injuries which in the end cost him to retire at the age of 31.

5. Robin Lopez

Standing at 7-foot, Robin Lopez is wearing size 20 shoes which look scary. Lopez is in his 13th year in the league, playing for the Orlando Magic which is the eighth team in his career but he hasn’t made any impressive accomplishments in his NBA career yet. He is still recognized as Brook Lopez’s twin.

4. Brook Lopez

Just like it goes with identical twins, Brook Lopez wears size 20 just like his brother. Brook was always the better player than Robin and was a major part of the Milwaukee Bucks team that won the 2021 NBA Championship. He also made the All-Star team in 2013.

3. Will Purdue

If you ask someone who followed the NBA in the 90s to remember one thing about Purdue, is definitely the fact that at the time he had the biggest feet in the league wearing size 21. The size of his shoes was that big of a story back in the days, that Purdue was covered in Sports Illustrated just for that fact. Purdue spent 14 years in the league, the first half with the Chicago Bulls winning three championships at the beginning of the 90s.

2. Bob Lanier

The top overall pick of the 1970 NBA draft spent 14 years in the league as one of the best centers. He made eight All-Star appearances and his No. 16 jersey was retired by both the Detroit Pistons and the Milwaukee Bucks. Lanier averaged a career double-double with 20.1 points and 10.1 rebounds and he did all that while wearing size 22 shoes.

1. Shaquille O’Neal

Probably the most dominant physical force that the game has ever seen was Shaquille O’Neal who wore size 22 shoes. Often he looked like a giant playing ball with kids as he was rim rocker in his primer with the Los Angeles Lakers and earlier with the Orlando Magic. He won four NBA championships and was named 2000 NBA MVP.

I fell in love with the game of basketball at 15 years old. I am an avid fan of the Chicago Bulls as I am from the windy city! This blog was created as a side hobby during my sophomore year in college and I have stuck with it ever since. I do hope you enjoy the content and please be sure to follow us on Facebook and never miss a post!
